Alexia's Shower!!

Sooo I realize that I am still very young, which makes it very odd that I go to so many showers!! Luckily the shower I went to this weekend was for my friend, Alexia, who is a few years older than me. Her baby is due in like 2 weeks and she is ready to pop!!! I worked with her at Fantasy Bridal and we had so much fun, then she went and got married and pregnant and left me all alone to fend for myself! Anyways, I had a blast at the shower and I am so excited for her and Ben!

Alexia and Me

This is a picture of all her friends that came.
Weird thing though, the girl with the leggings was in one of my classes at the U and the girl next to her
is my friend for high schools sister. It sure is a small world!

I wish I could have gotten a good pic of her belly! She is one of those luckys that from the back she doesnt look pregnant at all, its all in front like a basketball!!

Anyways, Congratulation Ben and Lexi!!

HOT PINK??

Alllllllright, so it all started last week when Emily and Kelli said that they wanted to dye their hair. I told them that I would dye it for them but I wouldn't do it to mine cause I pay good money to get mine done by a professional!! Anyways so tonight ended up being the night the dye was purchased and as we started to do Kelli and Emilys I toyed with the thought of mine too . . . well I did it. None of the colors that were bought were actually the color it turned out, but you know, things happen. Let me first just explain, Emily wanted to bleach some chunks in her hair blonde, which apparently has happened, despite her DARK hair. The bottle I used was supposed to be a dark purple but, as our good friend Tony puts it, it ended up as a Magenta, and Kelli wanted the purple and a bright teal/blue color and her purple worked out but the teal was more of a light green. Anyways, so here are the pics from the eventful night!

BEFORE

IN THE PROCESS

FINISHED BUT STILL WORKING

AFTER
I still haven't decided if I like mine or not. Its pretty dramatic for me, but Kelli and Emily are trying really hard to convince me it looks good!

The weekend that didn't work out and left me all alone!!

Sooo earlier this week my roomies and I had all sorts of plans for the weekend!! Thursday was my friend Jessicas wedding, Friday we were going to dye our hair (actually Emily and Kelli were going to and I was going to take pictures or do the dying!!), and today we were planning on going to Frightmares at Lagoon!! Well that didn't quite work out . . . . Thursday we went to Jess's wedding reception but from there I dropped Kelli off at her house so she could wedding dress shopping with her sister the next day. So then Emily and I changed plans and decided that we would go see Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist on Friday but when Emilys boyfriend came up on thursday he ended up getting REALLY sick and Em had to take him home at 10:00 pm so she stayed the weekend at home. Friday morning I had to get up EARLY to take my other roomate Ana to the airport so she could go see her fiance in Rhode Island. Sooooo that left me alone on Friday night. I ended up downstairs with the boys watching a movie and then did homework to an INSANE hour. Lastly, waking up this morning and seeing that the temperature in good old Logan is 37 degrees we decided that Lagoon was probably not a good idea. So here I am all alone!! Does anyone want to play???

Vote?

Okay, so I sit here and watch the vice president debate and I came across this video from a friend. Its about registering to vote, so you don't have to watch it if you don't want to. OH and word of warning, there are a few bad words (3 s-words, and 2 f-words) just watch out for Jonah Hill mostly . . . sorry, i didn't know how to edit it!

I think my favorite part of the video is Courtney Cox-Arquette when she says "I DID have five friends. . ." Hilarious!!

I love my roomies!!

Well, I'm well into the semester and already taking midterms (weird!!) and I must say my roomies and I sure have a lot of fun!! First off, what do you get when you have 3 girls that are bored and a nice big pack of 97 cent temporary pirate tattoos??

A REALLY GOOD TIME!!!

I guess since Emily is allergic cats we shouldn't get one at our humble abode. That and we dont have the money for one . . . oh and my apartment wont allow them! Anyways, this is what happens to Emily when she is exposed to cats . . . I just love this picture. Kelli thinks she looks like Kwazemoto (however you spell it!)

Lastly we attended FHE tonight with our new "families" and everyone hated us . . . yes its sad!

We decided we're just the good times in the ward!

Other than that, my sweet nephews birthday is on Sunday so I'm coming home for that!

Oh and I'm uber stressed out about my degree but oh well . . .

Sorry it took so long to post a new blog . . . it's been a crazy time!

College Life!!

Wow, what a week it has been! I have officially completed my first week of college at Utah State University and I loved it. Some of the weeks highlights . . . . MY ROOMMATES! We have so much fun. It was Kelli's birthday yesterday and that was a party. So many fun times already. My roommate Ana is getting married in April so today was killed with wedding plans, we went wedding dress shopping and went to a flower store. Believe it or not, here in Logan there are THREE bridal stores. Crazy! Anyways, we found her THE dress.

It is SOOO beautiful! Her tiny little figure is so cute in it. I am so excited for her, she's such a sweetheart and kelli and I are sad we are losing her . . . but we still have 2 semesters.

Next, Ana's mother-in-law to be came with us and invited us to a . . . . . . DEAD GOAT PARTY! Now you may be wondering what that is, we were too. Turns out her husband bought a goat from a Vet (weird) and cooked it. We were invited to a party where we were supposed to eat a goat. Has anyone ever had goat?? I certainly had not and was very hesitant.

WARNING: STEPHANIE ROLLINS STOP READING NOW!!!

The goat when we were done with it

Ana's plate . . . No one liked it but me!

After we ate we had plenty of options for entertainment such as . . . .Jumping on the tramp with Kelli and Vanessa

or . . .

Go for a ride on the pond

or . . .

help Mads attempt to try up the boat

Or you could chill with me . . .

And Jackson!! He's such a sweeeeeetheart!!

I guess thats all for this blog! Oh one more thing! Kimmi's Wedding was BEAUTIFUL!!!! It was basically my last night living in Murray for a while.

Ian and I after the wedding.

CONGRATULATIONS KIMMI!!

Long time No blog

Yes, it is true I am still very much alive and kickin! I have NO idea where to start, so I guess I'll just ramble. Deal?

So you think you can dance came to an end, but with that came the revival of my social life.
It came down to Katee, Courtney, Joshua, and Twitch. I am not going to lie when I say that I was disappointed that Joshua won, although he was my second pick. I REALLY wanted Katee to win because she is AMAZING and so cute. But my sadness was reversed quickly when I realized that NEIL my all time favorite dancer appeared on the finale for a reunion dance. Did I mention how much I LOVE him? Too bad he's probably gay.

For those of you unaware, I have officially changed my major. Now comes the interesting part . . . I have gone from a TOTAL art degree to a TOTAL science degree. I am no longer a Art Historian but now a Animal Science-ian. As a result I can no longer study at the University of Utah and have transferred to Utah State University. I will try to hold back the invisible tears. If you didn't catch that sarcasm I am telling you now it was sarcastic. I HATED the U with all my heart and hope this new experience will not be as wretched. Good news moment: I am moving to Logan on Wednesday, yes this coming Wednesday people. I am so broke I could break down and cry at any moment but it should be fun!! I will be living with one of my very best friends since 7th grade and if any of you are wondering, which I'm sure you aren't, I will now post a sure to be fabulous picture of her.

Isn't she a doll! Come on boys, her boyfriend of 4 years just left on a mission . . .

Next I guess I should tell you all about the NEW adventures of the unemployed. I am officially unemployed and hating every second of it!! I gave my 2 weeks with enough time to have my last day be August 9th, well some things came up and the managers decided to just let me go a week early. Needless to say, I was counting on that extra weeks pay but I guess I'll just have to live with it.

I guess the most important thing about this blog is to tell you the adventure of a little place we call Disneyland. Ian and I went to Disneyland this week and we SUCCESSFULLY did Disneyland in a day! If anyone wants our itinerary you may consult me later. We not only successfully did it, but we still had time to shop, go to California Adventure, eat at Rainforest Cafe, ride a few rides multiple times (Ian rode Space mountain THREE times, twice with me and once with my mom), and we left an hour before they closed. The next day we headed off to Knott's Berry Farm and rode some wicked awesome rides there. KBF has a new ride that you ride like you are riding a horse. NO JOKE!! You side on it like you would a horse and 2 bars keep your legs there and a big heavy bar comes up and rests on your back, keeping you in place. It was SOOO fun! unlike anything I've EVER rode. We may have rode this one twice . . . That one was fun, but The XCelerator was more fun!! It goes from 0 to 80 MPH is some crazy time like 2.3 seconds. It was AWESOME!!!! Imagine Wicked from Lagoon but 10x the speed and height. After a few train rides, shopping, a photo booth visit and more roller coasters we had lunch. We ate at Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant. It was delish! With the best berry punch I've ever had! Believe it or not, even better than Kool-Aid! It was Boysenberry punch and I want more. If anyone goes back, they sell the concentrate at the berry store for 6 dollars I promise I will scrape up 6 bucks so I can pay you back! And maybe a tip too!! Thanks a bunch!! After all was said and done, the longest line we waited in both days was 45 minutes, and both rides were worth it . . . . They were Nemo at Disneyland and Ghost Rider at KBF. LOTS of fun!! Here are the pics!

Buzz Lightyear Ride, points TOTALLY aren't important!

Army Dudes

Waiting in line for Peter Pan

Me in front of the Castle

Ian in front of the Castle . . . notice our LAME matching outfits (his idea!!)

Doesn't he look nervous next to those women? I think its the nerd in him.

Liberty Bell replica at KBF

Me very interested in the pre-recorded info on the Liberty Bell

Inside the front gates at KNB. In case you can't tell, the people on top are dancing.

After a LONG two days we are both sunburnt and very ready for the flight home.

LETS GO BACK!!

Lastly, before I depart, My beloved cousin but most of all my friend is getting married next week. I threw her a friend shower today and we had a lot of fun! I am so excited for her and the upcoming wedding! I am happy I have gotten to play such a large part in the planning process.

I LOVE YOU KIMMI!!

Here are some pictures of the event!
