Just to clear some things up

There are two things in my previous post that people have brought to my attention that I need to clear up:

1: The only time we are are ever half naked is when we are in swimsuits. You dirty-minded people!!

2: The things that "I have never had any desire to question" DOES NOT mean the LDS church. For gosh sakes people, it's POLITICS!! I guess politics are the devil and since I am learning more about politics for Ian's sake maybe I am turning to the devils side.

I think thats all, if you have any other questions I need to clear up let me know. Don't just assume!!

A birthday wish . . .

H.A.P.P.Y B.I.R.T.H.D.A.Y

From that first, "Hey will you order me a card? The account number is blah blah blah and the name is blah blah" to the "I love you" 2 hours ago we been practically inseperable. I can't believe we have been together for 8 months now, time flies when you are half naked and unable to get up on that stupid wake board (at least thats how it was for you!). And then to top things off, I almost get my leg cut off as a result of tubes and slack from the rope, and you, well you barely got a scratch!

You have changed me in so many ways! You have helped me to realize my dreams and encourage me to shoot for the stars. You have made me realize that there really is not that much to worry and complain about. You have forced me to think things through that I've never had any desire to question (gotta love google!) but most importantly you have helped me to keep food from my creeping between my increasingly crooked teeth, despite having braces for like two years. Thanks for all you've taught me.

After MONTHS of trying to convince me that being outside is FUN (ugh!) you finally got me to go hiking with you. Don't tell anyone but it was actually really fun, greasy hair and all!! For all of you that are reading this and can't tell we are pretty far up, WE ARE!! Ha ha, actually it was a really easy hike, but I like to think that it was hard and I nearly collapsed because it was so hard!! So if anyone asks, WOW, I am quite a trooper, climping up those ninety-degree inclines. We were practically rock-climbing!! (Thanks for being easy on me!)

Anyone who knows us knows that we love to take goofy pictures. If you remember, Ian, this picture was taken after an especially rewarding bowl of Cold Stone ice cream in Draper. I do believe we had both been studying, you probably harder than I, and needed a break. The studying explains the boredom and the need to make such crazy faces. I still maintain that your face is crazier than mine (as always!!) and yes, I am still proud of my teeny tongue!

Alas, I must get going for I have homework and Pavlova awaiting my presence in a little less than an hour and half. I shall bid thee farewell for the time being and wish to add one last thing . . . .

Truck rolls into playground, traps 2-year-old girl


Updated: 9:16 AM- A pickup truck dragged and pinned a toddler Wednesday in Weber County but the girl did not suffer serious injuries. Weber County Sheriff's Lt. Jeff Pledger said the only obvious injuries were lacerations to the 2-year-old's face, despite being dragged 20 to 25 feet underneath the truck's rear axle. Paramedic "saw no obvious signs of broken bones or no signs of obvious trauma," Pledger said, though a helicopter flew the child to a hospital as a precaution. The accident happened about 5 p.m. at the Almost Home daycare in Plain City. A father arrived in his truck to take home his 6-year-old daughter. While the father was talking with an adult on the playground, the 6-year-old jumped into the truck. Pledger said the daughter wanted to listen to the radio and turned the key in the ignition. The truck had a manual transmission and was in gear when the child turned it on, Pledger said. The truck ran through a fence, striking and dragging the 2-year-old before running through another fence and coming to a stop against a barrier, Pledger said. The toddler remained pinned underneath the rear axle. Adults tried to use a jack to lift the truck, but the jack was too small, Pledger said. A deputy arrived with a larger jack freed the child, Pledger said. No citations were issued.

Can you believe that? All I can say is, WOW!!
